HARTING to exhibit at Light & Building in Frankfurt for the first time

The HARTING Technology Group is set to exhibit for the first time at the “Light & Building” exhibition, which takes place in Frankfurt from April 11 to April 16.

By taking part in this leading global fair for architecture and technology, the family-run Espelkamp company is specifically targeting customers from the new business segment of building services.

By showcasing itself at Light & Building, HARTING is continuing to pursue its objective of taking full advantage of new technologies and market trends and developing innovative solutions for current and future applications. The new core technology “Ha-VIS preLink®” is the result of focusing on data network technology in HARTING’s Automation IT solution portfolio and provides customers with complete, tailored solutions. Ha-VIS preLink® enables universal cabling in all company areas as it acts as the connection element between automation and IT. The new connection technology is inserted between the cable termination and the freely selectable mating face. This means the same cabling can be fitted with both the M12 connector for industry and automation and the RJ45 for IT. HARTING’s quick and easy technology enables cost-effective installation of universal networks and is also more fit for the future, as preLink® is designed for high-speed networks of up to 10 gigabit.

Data transmission rates of up to 10 gigabit can also be achieved with the new har-speed M12 and RJ Industrial®10G from HARTING, which complement the portfolio of high-speed connection components. In the har-speed M12 family, HARTING has expanded the proven M12 to eight contacts and equipped it for 10 gigabit transmission using the innovative shielding concept. The RJ Industrial®10G is a high-performance connector that can be assembled on site and is extremely quick and easy to install.

“HARTING’s first appearance at Light & Building enables us to directly target potential customers in the field of building services. The new products for data network technology have opened up another business segment for us. The 10-gigabit products are the result of our “new thinking” maxim which focuses on developing pioneering solutions that are fit for the future and offer decisive customer benefits,” explained Philip Harting, Senior Vice-President of Connectivity & Networks at the HARTING Technology Group.
