HARTING erhält Modell-Segelboot von SE Spezial-Electronic

“A HARTING ship sets sail for Espelkamp” declared a visibly delighted Rüdiger Prill, Managing Director of sales unit HARTING Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, on Thursday afternoon. Together with sales colleagues Hans-Dieter Bonné and Jürgen Kelleter, Rüdiger Prill accepted a 60 cm long and 80 cm tall HARTING model boat from SE Spezial-Electronic AG management board member Frank Bruns at SE headquarters in Bückeburg.
SE Spezial-Electronic AG, an international distributor of electronic components with whom HARTING has cooperated over many years, surprised visitors to the electronica fair in Munich in November 2006 with several model ships. In the course of the world’s most important electronic components show, anyone who expressed an interest was given a chance to steer one of the remote-controlled model sailboats around a 32 m² tank.
The hulls and sails of six carefully chosen model vessels were also decorated with the logos of one of SE’s chief suppliers. One of these was the HARTING boat which was greeted with much enthusiasm on the part of representatives of the company in Espelkamp. In response to the tremendous interest generated by this streamlined sailboat quickly prompted SE Spezial-Electronic to make a gift to HARTING of the model which bears the company name. To mark the presentation, HARTING representatives were invited to the Spezial-Electronic headquarters in Bückeburg. Afterwards they brought the HARTING boat back to the Training and Presentation Center (SPC) in Espelkamp, where the ship will occupy a place of honor. “We are thrilled at such an excellent idea and we should like to express our heart-felt thanks for this gift,” said Rüdiger Prill.
